We encourage anyone who has symptoms or believes they may have been exposed to COVID-19 to:

  • CALL OR EMAIL a health care provider first. If the provider recommends you get testing or care, follow the provider’s advice BEFORE going into any health facility. Ask your provider about private lab sites where you can get tested.
  • DO NOT go to an emergency room to get a test for COVID-19 unless you are having a medical emergency. For COVID-19, that means severe respiratory symptoms such as shortness or breath or breathing difficulties.
  • DO call 911 or go to an emergency room if you are having a medical emergency. Tell the dispatcher your symptoms.

Take Precautions Now

The best way to keep you and your family safe, is to wash your hands, and avoid touching your mouth, face, and eyes. If you are sick, stay home and isolate yourself from family members and others as best as you can. These simple measures will decrease community spread a ton, and you should not wait until you are sick to do this.

Because Coronavirus, also known as COVID19.  is rapidly evolving and the information and guidance from the CDC, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and Jefferson County is changing almost daily, we are closely monitoring and will always keep your health and safety first.  Our clinic can provide masks and gloves and we are ensuring social distancing as well.

Because your life, your loved ones lives, and our lives are on the line here, we are strongly enforcing social distancing at Littleton Foot and Ankle Clinic.  Only the patient is allowed in the clinic and everyone else must wait outside.  We simply are too small of a clinic to accommodate you, our other patients, our staff, and your family.  Simply put, lives are on the line.

All medical experts agree that the spread of coronavirus is now on pace to overwhelm the U.S. health care system by this summer.   The best change we can do to slow this projected growth is social distancing.

You should self-quarantine if you have any Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms; any cold or flu symptoms like fever, cough or shortness of breath, or been exposed to the virus. Social distancing applies to everyone else and is straightforward.

  • Avoid all public places; and
  • Keep six feet between you and anyone not in your household.

The CDC, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and Jefferson County have excellent guidance to follow.  The links below will take you to further information.
